Hongyi Pan

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Northwestern University, Machine and Hybrid Intelligence Lab, collaborating with Prof. Ulas Bagci. I received my Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Illinois Chicago in 2023, where I was advised by Prof. Ahmet Enis Cetin.

My research interests include image processing, computer vision, and digital signal processing, focusing on image classification, object detection, orthogonal-transform-based neural networks, and kernel PCA. Currently, I am working on Federated Domain Generalization for mammography image analysis.
